Thank you to everyone who signed up for Shoot #1! We are ecstatic to have over 120+ responses! With this in mind, please see the attached roles sheet below. If you were not selected for this shoot, please know that there are many upcoming opportunities and shoots approaching. 2) STYLING SESSION (TOMORROW!) 📅

The secret is out and the future is now! The theme of TFN’s first shoot for the semester is “FUTURISM: The Future Is Now.” We are so psyched to get going and cannot wait to begin. With that being said, here are some details and logistics about this first shoot:
Shoot #1 Dates + Deadlines:
Styling Session: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13th (SCD Lower Lobby, 7-8 PM)
Photoshoot Date: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19th (SCD Lower Lobby for prep/makeup, ADB (Art + Design Building) studios for shooting, 10 AM-4 PM)
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR MODELS + STYLISTS AT TOMORROW’S STYLING SESSION. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND, YOU MUST CONTACT TFN EXEC (PREFERABLY KAILEY SEDLACEK (INFO ATTACHED IN THE ROLE SHEET ABOVE).*

✂️EVENT: Create Your Own Vision Board
A message from Sam Simmons (Events Director):
We are so excited to invite you all to our first social event of the seamster: Create Your Own Vision Board! Join us for a pleasant night of crafting fashion, mood, or manifestation boards using magazines, paint swatches, and other fun imagery! The event will take place February 24th from 7-9 PM in rooms 1000 and 1002 at SCD. We can’t wait to see you all there!
💃WORKSHOP: Posing Workshop w/ Kailey + Thomas!
A message from Kailey Sedlacek (Creative Director of Styling) & Thomas Sanders (Operations Director):
Reminder! The first posing workshop of the semester will take place THIS THURSDAY! All models are encouraged to attend (especially if you are part of shoot #1). ALSO, PLEASE BRING HEELS IF YOU HAVE THEM!
The first workshop will be held at the SCD lower lobby on the 16th from 5-7 PM by Kailey and Thomas! We cannot wait to see all of your beautiful faces!
4) PAY YOUR DUES 💵

🤍PAY YOUR DUES! : $20 dollars for TFN? Call it a deal, a bargain, whatever you call it, but remember to pay your dues! All events, photoshoots, and TFN-member events are for due-paying members only. If you have any questions or concerns about dues, please reach out to our Treasurer, Anu (kherlen2@illinois.edu). When sending the money over, please use “tfnuiuc@gmail.com” through Zelle or Venmo. Make sure to include your name! It makes it easier for everyone to confirm you have paid when attendance is taken at shoots, events, etc.

Staff Writing Info. Night will be February 15th, 6-7pm, Room 1070 at SCD.
🖤Graphic Designers - Interested in graphic designing for TFN’s publication, growing your portfolio, and working with the lovely Creative Director of Design, Olivia Sims? Then fill out the Graphic Designer interest form! What are you waiting for?
