Thank you to everyone who signed up for Shoot #2! We are ecstatic to have over 130+ responses! With this in mind, please see the attached roles sheet below. If you were not selected for this shoot, please know that there are many upcoming opportunities and shoots approaching. 2) STYLING SESSION (TOMORROW!) 📅

A blast from the past, but this time, we’re redefining it! The theme of TFN’s second shoot for the semester is “REDEFINING TWIGGY.” We are so thrilled to be introducing this second shoot and to get going with styling, creative direction, and more! With that being said, here are some details and logistics about this second shoot:
Shoot #2 Dates + Deadlines:
Styling Session: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27th (SCD Lower Lobby, 7-8 PM)
Photoshoot Date: SUNDAY, MARCH 5th (SCD Lower Lobby for prep/makeup [10 AM-1 PM], Japan House/Arboretum for shooting, [1 PM-4 PM])
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR MODELS + STYLISTS AT TOMORROW’S STYLING SESSION. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND, YOU MUST CONTACT TFN EXEC*

Thank you so much to the lovely photographers, models, stylists, makeup artists, and everyone who was involved in the first shoot of the semester today, “FUTURISM: The Future is Now.” On behalf of myself and the Exec. Board, we are so proud of all of you and beyond impressed with today’s production! Major shoutout goes to the makeup artists for their lovely looks, the models for taking creative direction with poise and with ease, the photographers/videographers for their lovely shots, and the stylists for the gorgeous looks. Each of you played such an integral part in this shoot and we couldn’t be happier.

6) Graphic Designer Update 🫧

A message from Olivia Sims (Creative Director of Design):
Thank you to all who submitted the Graphic Design Interest Form/Application for TFN’s SP23 Publication. Please be on the lookout for an email from Olivia Sims; Creative Director of Design (through your school email) by Monday evening, February 27, 2023. Emails will be sent to the selected primary and alternate designers assigned to Spread 1 | Futurism and will include an explanation of your position, overview of the process, along with important information to read through in preparation for your position. Designers for Spread 2|Shoot 2 – Redefining Twiggy will be announced next - within a week or so. For more information, please view the ‘Designers’ channel on the TFN Discord or reach out to Olivia Sims if you have any questions.
7) PAY YOUR DUES 💵

🤍PAY YOUR DUES! : $25 dollars for TFN? Call it a deal, a bargain, whatever you call it, but remember to pay your dues! All events, photoshoots, and TFN-member events are for due-paying members only. If you have any questions or concerns about dues, please reach out to our Treasurer, Anu (kherlen2@illinois.edu). When sending the money over, please use “tfnuiuc@gmail.com” through Zelle or Venmo. Make sure to include your name! It makes it easier for everyone to confirm you have paid when attendance is taken at shoots, events, etc.
