1) BURLESQUE IN BERLIN ROLES 🌟

Thank you to everyone who signed up for Shoot #1! We are ecstatic to have over 100+ responses! With this in mind, please see the attached roles sheet below. If you were not selected for this shoot, please know that there are many upcoming opportunities and shoots approaching. EVERYONE WILL BE GUARANTEED PARTICIPATION IN AT LEAST ONE SHOOT WITH THEIR DESIRED ROLE DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS/A SURPLUS OF MODELS. 2) STYLING SESSION (TOMORROW!) 📅

The 1920s. A city full of stars, sex, and all around eclectic life. The night was young, the music was loud, and the drinks were flowing - it was an all-round celebration of life. As this is the last chapter of our 2022-2023 Exec Board, why not open our last hooray with a celebration full of love? Get ready to put on your feathers, gel that hair, and paint on those eyebrows because we are about to enter the most fabulous nightclub in Berlin in the most sexiest way imaginable. This is Burlesque in Berlin!
Shoot #1 Dates + Deadlines:
Styling Session: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th (SCD Lower Lobby, 6:30-8:30 PM)
Photoshoot Date: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th (SCD Lower Lobby for prep/makeup, Illini Union for shooting location (10 AM-4 PM)
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR MODELS + STYLISTS AT TOMORROW’S STYLING SESSION. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND, YOU MUST CONTACT TFN EXEC (PREFERABLY KAILEY SEDLACEK (INFO ATTACHED IN THE ROLE SHEET ABOVE).*

3) Build Your Own Vision Board Event Interest Form 💅

Please fill out this form if you are interested in attending our first social event: Build Your Own Vision Board! It will take place Thursday, September 14th at a new location SCD east terrace (outside) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own!
4) TFN Writing Proposal (Blog or Publication) 🖤

A new era of TFN calls for new writers...
Submit a writing proposal for a chance to be featured within the publication or blog.
If you submit a writing proposal, please come to our first writers meeting Wednesday, September 13th from 7-8pm at the SCD in room 1002. We will be discussing your ideas as well as scheduling blog pieces for our content calendar. Any members of TFN are welcome to attend.

5) Pay your dues!!! 💵

🤍PAY YOUR DUES! : $20 dollars for TFN? Call it a deal, a bargain, whatever you call it, but remember to pay your dues! All events, photoshoots, and TFN-member events are for due-paying members only. If you have any questions or concerns about dues, please reach out to our Treasurer, Anu (kherlen2@illinois.edu). When sending the money over, please use “tfnuiuc@gmail.com” through Zelle or Venmo. Make sure to include your name! It makes it easier for everyone to confirm you have paid when attendance is taken at shoots, events, etc.
Dues will increase to $25 dollars if not paid at tomorrow’s styling session.
