1) Shoot #1: Thank You, Photography Uploads, “Burlesque in Berlin” Clothing Return🌟

Thank you so much to the lovely photographers, models, stylists, makeup artists, and everyone who was involved in the first shoot of the semester today, “Burlesque in Berlin.” On behalf of myself and the Exec. Board, we are so proud of all of you and beyond impressed with today’s production! Major shoutout goes to the makeup artists for their lovely looks, the models for taking creative direction with poise and with ease, the photographers/videographers for their lovely shots, and the stylists for their gorgeous looks. Each of you played such an integral part in this shoot and we couldn’t be happier.

With that in mind, PHOTOGRAPHERS + VIDEOGRAPHERS, please upload your videos by SEPTEMBER 24th at 11:59 PM and photos by OCTOBER 1st at 11:59 PM. Clothing Pick-Off/Drop-Off + Lost & Found:
Lastly, all stylists and models who need to pick up their pieces from BURLESQUE IN BERLIN, THERE WILL BE NO PICKUP/DROP OFF THIS SEMESTER. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR MODEL/STYLISTS INDIVIDUALLY.
2) Shoot #2 Sign-Ups: “HEAVENLY AURAS” 🪽

Shoot #1 may be over but Shoot #2 has just arrived! The theme of TFN’s second shoot for the semester is “HEAVENLY AURAS.” Here are some details about shoot #2:

Sign-Ups: OPEN TODAY, RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIVE!
Sign-Ups Close: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22th at 11:59 PM (that’s this Friday…..)
Roles List Announced: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th (late morning/early afternoon)
Styling Session: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th (SCD Lower Lobby, 6-7 PM)
Photoshoot Date: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1st (SCD Lower Lobby for prep/makeup, location TBD for shooting)
*YOU MUST BE A UIUC STUDENT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN SHOOTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO BE SELECTED, STATUS AS AN ACTIVE UIUC STUDENT WILL BE CHECKED + VERIFIED.*

💃EVENT: Barn Dance!
A message from Samantha Simmons (Events Director):
Hello lovely people! I hope everyone had an amazing time at our first shoot of the semester, you all looked absolutely stunning!!
As we slowly welcome the embrace of autumn's charm, we have another event coming up that I am so excited to share will you all!
Join us this October 17th for the first-ever Campus Creatives Barn Dance! This event is in collaboration with some other absolutely lovely RSOs on campus including, Hip Hop Collective, The Collective Magazine, and Starcourse!
This won't be your typical, run-of-the-mill, country-themed barn dance affair. Dress to impress in whatever attire makes you feel your absolute best! And fret not, there will be no country music playing on this fine night.
Tickets for this event are $15, covering your entry to the barn and round-trip transportation via bus. They can purchased through Venmoing @uiuctfn. Please be aware that tickets are very limited, as the barn can only accommodate a limited number of attendees. So get your hands on yours quick!
More details will be released on pickup times and locations.
I can’t wait to see you all there!
💃EVENT: Bar Crawl!

Hi everyone!
My name is Samantha Simmons and I am the Events Director for TFN, if we haven't met already hello! Thank you so much to everyone who signed up for the Moodboard Event. Due to new rules about gluing projects at SCD, we will unfortunately be canceling this event. But don’t worry, it is being replaced with a super exciting bar crawl next Friday, September 22nd! The theme for the bar crawl is 80’s Retroglam, so dress to impress!
Pregame begins at 8pm at 1004 South First St and then we will hit the town at around 9. We will supply alcohol but please BYOB because it will run out quickly!
If you are interested in attending this event please fill out this short form so we can accommodate accordingly.

🤍PAY YOUR DUES! : $25 dollars for TFN? Call it a deal, a bargain, whatever you call it, but remember to pay your dues! All events, photoshoots, and TFN-member events are for due-paying members only. If you have any questions or concerns about dues, please reach out to our Treasurer, Anu (kherlen2@illinois.edu). When sending the money over, please use “tfnuiuc@gmail.com” through Zelle or Venmo. Make sure to include your name! It makes it easier for everyone to confirm you have paid when attendance is taken at shoots, events, etc.
