1) Shoot #2: Thank You, Photography Uploads, “Let’s Dance!” Clothing Return🌟

Thank you!

Thank you so much to the lovely photographers, models, stylists, makeup artists, and everyone who was involved in the second shoot of the semester yesterday, “Let’s Dance!” We are so happy with how well it went and special thank you’s to everyone who contributed to this creative vision. Each of you played such an integral part in this shoot and we couldn’t be more thankful.

With that in mind, PHOTOGRAPHERS + VIDEOGRAPHERS, please upload your photos and videos by APRIL 6th at 11:59 PM. See the link below for uploading and instructions as well as refer to the message sent to you by Khoi and Giselle (P/V Director). All questions can be directed towards them regarding photo/video uploads (akpham2@illinois.edu & gmanc2@illinois.edu)

2) Shoot #3 Sign-Ups: “BAND ON THE RUN”📻

Shoot #2 may be over but Shoot #3 has just arrived! The theme of TFN’s second shoot for the semester is “BAND ON THE RUN.” Here are some details about shoot #3:

Shoot #3 Dates + Deadlines:

Sign-Ups: OPEN TODAY, RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIVE!

Sign-Ups Close: FRIDAY, MARCH 29th at 11:59 PM (that’s this Friday…..)

Roles List Announced: SUNDAY, MARCH 31st (afternoon/evening)

Styling Session: MONDAY, APRIL 1ST (SCD Gallery, 6-8 PM)

Photoshoot Date: SUNDAY, APRIL 7th (SCD Lower Lobby for prep/makeup, location TBD for shooting, 11AM-4PM)

YOU MUST BE A UIUC STUDENT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN SHOOTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO BE SELECTED, STATUS AS AN ACTIVE UIUC STUDENT WILL BE CHECKED + VERIFIED.

Hello lovely people! I hope everyone had an amazing spring break- you’re all killing it at the shoots, ilysm <3

I’m so excited to invite all of you to our first clothing swap of the new semester- a celebration of all things spring, all things sustainable, and all things TFN!

Join us this April 6th for a spring cleaning clothing swap! If you needed a reason to clean out that deliciously unique closet you’ve been curating, here you go. Spring is a rebirth, let yourself feel it!

The clothing swap will take place in the SCD Lower Lobby from 11AM-4PM, and you’ll be able to swap out clothes from your closet for some clothes from ours :)

Come and help us make fashion sustainable and celebrate the lovely lovely thing that is A Midwestern Spring,

I can’t wait to see you there <3

4) PAY YOUR DUES 🤍

PAY YOUR DUES! : $25 dollars for TFN? Call it a deal, a bargain, whatever you call it, but remember to pay your dues! All events, photoshoots, and TFN-member events are for due-paying members only. If you have any questions or concerns about dues, please reach out to our Financial Director, Grace Jung (gjung22@illinois.edu). When sending the money over, please use “tfnuiuc@gmail.com” through Zelle. Make sure to include your name! It makes it easier for everyone to confirm you have paid when attendance is taken at shoots, events, etc.
